Who is Busmom?

     Hi! Welcome aboard, My name is Robin Padgett, I live and work in Lynchburg, VA. Lynchburg is located in Central Virginia, just at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. My job for the past 14 years has been driving a school bus for Lynchburg City Schools. I am currently transporting some of our special needs students. I enjoy gardening, making a variety of crafts, and travelling. Oh, and working on the computer. I am "married with children", two teenage girls and a 9 year old boy. I firmly believe in being involved in my children's education. I am secretary of my son's PTA, and serve on a parent committee for each of my girls' extracurricular activities. (That means I am the one they always call to chaperone when they take a trip, forty teenagers away from "the nest", try it sometime, it's very interesting). My husband says I spend entirely too much time with the computer but he never complains when he needs my help with something. Being employed in a "safety sensitive" position gives me daily exposure to the problems our kids can encounter out there. I will depend on all the tips and tricks I have picked up over the years with these little people to bring you the best information I can.
